Global Product Manager, Agro Solutions
Ester Vandersmissen is our new Global Product Manager Agro Solutions and has immeasurable understanding of the field. She holds a degree in Bioengineering with a specialisation in Crop Protection, and completed her thesis on the biological control of root rot infections in citrus in Vietnam. With a profound background in the agricultural sector, Ester has successfully led teams, oversaw product management and developed purchasing strategies. Her knowledge also extends to regulatory compliance, product development and quality control.
In her role as Global Product Manager for Roam Technology, Ester’s focus will be on the development and management of the Agro Solutions product portfolio, with an emphasis on the horticultural and post-harvest sectors. She will lead market research, analyse trends, and gather customer feedback to optimise our products, while also handling technical support and regulatory compliance. Her management skills and her knowledge of the sector will be a huge asset to the Agro Solutions team.
