Roam Technology Invests in R&D and Production Department

Roam Technology is very excited to announce the hiring of not one, but two new colleagues. We’re welcoming Jolien Smeets to our R&D department and Joeri Jans to our production team.

R&D engineer, Jolien Smeets

Our R&D department is growing, as we welcome Jolien Smeets to the team. Jolien holds two master’s degrees: one in Chemistry from KU Leuven and one in Education from UHasselt. She’s already gained noteworthy experience as an R&D engineer. Before joining Roam, she developed new applications for secondary raw materials while ensuring compliance with Belgian regulations. At Roam Technology, she will be shifting her focus to our products, working alongside Global R&D Manager Ines Staes. Jolien likes to describe her job as an opportunity to put things into motion, a mindset that perfectly aligns with our values. We’re certain she’ll bring an energetic spirit to Roam Technology.

Production operator, Joeri Jans

We’re not only investing in our R&D department; the production team has been growing as well with Joeri Jans joining the team. Joeri has years of valuable experience in the production industry. Before coming to Roam Technology, Joeri was a machine operator, operating and converting production lines. Now, he will use these years of experience as an operator at our production facility in Genk. At Roam Technology, Joeri will be responsible for packaging our products, converting production lines and preparing orders for shipment and delivery. Joeri is a true team player, which makes him a great match for our ever growing production team. Production managers Michel Evers and Mali Morali are thrilled to have a new addition to their team.
